Monzambano is also called “the town of two castles”. As you reach the town, in fact, you can spot the Monzambano Castle and Castellaro Lagusello, evoking a medieval athmosfere. In Monzambano, the fort and the church of San Michele Arcangelo are one in front of the othere and seem to watch over the old town that stretches along the river Mincio between vineyards, olive trees, and cypresses, typical of this landscape. The “Square of Arts and Crafts”, recently renovated, characterizes the historic center and animates the cultural life, besides offering a breathtaking view of the valley of the river Mincio.
